13X 1/8" bead type desiccant is for screens with a 4 x 8  mesh size. The actual bead size varies from .093 to .185. Because of the larger pore size of 13X desiccant it has a higher absorbency rate then 4A but it is more subject to contamination. The best temperature range for regeneration of desiccant is from 400-600 F. Sold by the pound so buy only the desiccant you need to fill your beds no need to buy extra that you will have to store.
