We stock Forged Carbon Steel Shoulder Eye Bolts in a range of threads from 1/4"-20 up to 2"-4 1/2. These bolts are manufactured from C1030 Carbon Steel to ASME B18.5 and tested to ASTM A489 specifications.
NOTICE:
Loads should always be aligned to the plane of the eye, not at an angle to the plane. Load ratings are for vertical lifting only with thread fully engaged. At a 45 degree angle load rating drops to 25% of listed rate. Do not use at an angle greater than 45 degrees see Safety Hoist Rings for lifts greater then 45 degrees.
Shoulder Eye Bolts must be firmly seated and flush against the mating surface.
