Voltage Controller

Powermite voltage controllers provide infinite control of single-phase AC voltage to resistive heating elements. A variable amount of power to load is applied by use of phase control circuitry. Adjustment of the input voltage achieves precise control, permitting exact matching of the power to load requirement. Powermite voltage controllers may be used wherever a variac type auto transformer is used to control the transmission of AC power to a resistive load.
